About Low Country Quisine

Starting in the “Low Country”

Low Country Quisine was birthed from a true passion for delectable food and a joy of entertaining. As a very young child Enjolik R. Oree-Bailey (Chef Jolie) would spend summers with her grandparents in Charleston, South Carolina. During those visits, her grandparents took pride in preparing each of the 3 daily meals for their family. Jolie spent hours in the kitchen watching, learning, and helping. This is how she developed the techniques involved in preparing the “Quisine” associated with the “Low Country.” By age fifteen, Jolie was cooking for her own mother, sister, and step-father on almost a daily basis. However, it wasn’t until several years later that she realized what had come so naturally was actually her life’s passion.

Since 2007, Low Country Quisine has specialized in catering for Weddings, Social and Corporate Events in the Dallas Metroplex and surrounding areas. No event is too small or too large! In addition to preparing wonderful food, Chef Jolie and her team’s years of experience allows them to exceed their client’s expectations through Event Design, Venue Scouting and Superior Customer Service. Low Country Quisine strives to be the total solution for your successful event!

Jolie Oree-Bailey | Executive Chef

Jolie began noticing that every party or get together she was invited to attend was prefaced with, “Can you make that shrimp salad?” or “Can you make us macaroni and cheese?” These requests began to make her question whether it was her company that was welcome or the dishes! Throughout her life, Jolie has gravitated toward a culinary career, but also leaves her footprint in several corporate successes, including being a Market Manager for a Marketing Promotions Company, Co-Owner of a fashion show production company in Atlanta and Dallas, and Top Performing Sales Executive for two Fortune 500 companies. Even with these accomplishments, nothing makes Jolie as happy as creating new recipes and watching others enjoy her food.

In 2007 Jolie decided it was time to succumb to her heart’s passion, thus Low Country Quisine by Jolie Ramize was born. After talking the idea over with her husband, friends and family, her first opportunity to cater a friend’s graduation party came knocking. The success of that event gave Jolie just the boost of confidence and confirmation she needed to finally accept this is where she belonged!
