
Low Country is a term used to describe the coastal counties of South Carolina and Georgia. This region is overflowing with history; culture and a unique cooking style all of its own. Low Country Quisine specializes in this cooking style, traditionally associated with the South Carolina and Georgia Low Country.
Low Country cooking has many traditional "soul food" roots. Several dishes include a rich variety of rice and seafood which are staples along the shores of Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. Low Country cooking also has strong parallels with New Orleans and Cajun cuisines as well as some Caribbean & African influences. We have taken recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation and enhanced them with our special blend of seasonings and fresh ingredients. We like to say it’s “Yesterday’s Recipes, Today’s Attitude”!
